Question about New Posts

Whenever I Log in here I click on New Posts and read all the topics that interest me. When I'm finished I "mark forums read" under quick links. Question is- Do I miss all the new posts during the time it takes me to read everything?

Welcome to the Rx. Ray. When you click on new posts again you will see any posts that were entered while you were reading.

Thank you. Thats what I thought but the other day I had 11 pages of New Posts to read and then the phone rang I watched a race etc. it took me about 30 minutes to finish and no new posts after I marked everything read so I thought it was strange.
